Online documents reveal plans for third Shanghai Disney Resort hotel
Since opening in 2016, Shanghai Disney Resort in Shanghai, China has been one of Disney’s biggest success stories, so it’s no surprise that Disney has focused its efforts on expanding the resort. The theme park is already working on the first zootopia-themed land, and now it looks like Disney is planning another major expansion for its second-largest resort.
The Shanghai Disney Resort has been home to the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel since its opening, and with space reserved for many more future offerings. According to a report published on the Chinese social networking site WeiboShanghai International Theme Park Support Facilities has commissioned tenders for a proposed third hotel.
