Legoland Windsor fire: Footage shows resort hotel destroyed

PHOTOS have been released showing the aftermath of the fire at Legoland Windsor.

The fire started outside the resort hotel yesterday afternoon (July 31) around 3.35pm.

Legoland Staff confirmed the hotel was immediately evacuated and said all guests and staff were ‘safe and healthy’.

A Legoland spokesperson said: “Guests received a full refund for their stay, alternative accommodation and additional time to enjoy a selection of rides in the theme park on Sunday evening, which remained open as d ‘habit.

“All LEGOLAND Hotel guests staying August 1-2 have the option of a refund or alternative accommodation.

“They will still be able to visit the theme park with their tickets if they wish.

“The Castle Hotel (next door) is open.

“We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience and would like to thank them for their patience while we help everyone rearrange their reservations.”
