Lalchnd to Create Cuttack’s First 5-Star Resort Hotel – The New Indian Express
BHUBANESWAR: Cuttack’s first five-star resort hotel, The New Marrion, is coming soon to Nuapatna. Lalchnd Group, a popular jewelry brand in the state, will offer the project with an investment of Rs 77 crore. The groundbreaking ceremony for the project was conducted by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in virtual mode on Friday. The luxury hotel will feature 30 stand-alone villas, 60 luxury suites, two massive convention centers, two banquet halls, two high-end restaurants, a large communal swimming pool, a spa health club, a high-end lounge range, a state-of-the-art shopping arcade and an expansive lawn.
Once operational, the project will support more than 500 families, while providing direct employment to 162 people and indirect employment to 78 others. “We would like to express our gratitude to the Chief Minister for Comprehensive State Development over the past two decades, who has created new opportunities in various fields including trade and industry. Our new venture reflects this. said Lalchnd Founding Chairman Sunjoy Hans.
He said The New Marrion would strive to be the ultimate destination for family recreational activities in Odisha and to be the premier all-weather wedding venue in the state. Furthermore, it will also attract business tourists from all over India and overseas to Odisha by catering to all their typical and special needs. Industry Minister Dibyashankar Mishra, Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma, Tourism Secretary Surendra Kumar and others also attended the ceremony inauguration of the project.
